We have been offering all our servo brackets in either brushed or black anodized, and our chassis parts in clear or black anodized. However changes are coming. We intend to convert all our brushed servo brackets to black anodized. We will continue to sell our chassis parts with clear and black anodized finish, but all of the servo brackets are to be available in black anodized only.

Because we are out of room to expand the SES, this conversion will make it possible for us to double our servo bracket offerings. Making lots of new parts a possibility. The conversion will take months. Just a heads up.

Ouch!

Why are you out of room? Shelf space?

Shelf space is low and not to mention this will allow me to create as many new parts as we currently stock and not increase the inventory.

Good thing I chose to go with black anodized :D.

Are they more popular then than clear?

That's OK, I'll keep collecting the brushed ones...

Mine get scratched up anyway.

Maybe I'll just work out the details on making my own brushed finish. A wire brush wheel, I think?

I first came to lynxmotion as a lurker in 2006.. (i think  ) The good old Yellow lexan days.
After a while i started to get my hands on the SES range, i love the brushed look. everything i made was using brushed alloy, looked great, and... well shiny..ish.

only in till a couple of years ago i started to buy the black anodized range. The finish looked superb. loved it. :D

for me im not so sad that the brushed range are being depleted 'for the reasons stated but, it might be a pain for other who do still use them. but the change will happen!
and as jim said it will be a while yet before things start running out.

i will say i am very much looking forward in seeing what will fill those shelfs once the space is made. :D :D :D

I really appreciate the feedback. This change will make so much more possible.

The T-Hex frame is actually clear anodized, not brushed. In fact all of the chassis parts are either black or clear anodized. We are now offering the clear anodized T-Hex chassis with black brackets, so it will look even more like the original by Zenta. 8)

Because the brackets are filled with black servos anyway it sort of made sense to us to retain clear anodized chassis parts, but stock only black for the brackets.
