Are the gears for the Low Profile Axis (LPA-01) available separately? And are any other gear ratios (2:1, 3:1) available? Possibly point me to a supplier of a few pieces?

Thanks!

I have them custom made and for now they are not available separately. I like the direction you are thinking though. I'll put it on my long list.

thanks! I think they would be some useful parts.

I don't need them right away (although I'd order some to play with!).

I would like to know the pitch (mod?), teeth, etc. of the current pair just for drawing purposes.

Any possibility of getting the gear center-to-center gear distance of the LPA?

I'm integrating LPAs into a chassis, without the benefit of the supplied LPA bracket. I could also work it out from the gears, if I had a spec for them.

Thanks!

Oops, looks like I forgot to look up the info on them there gears.

They are 32 pitch, 50 tooth, custom hub, 20 DPA gears.

I don't have the distance measurement. Sorry for forgetting!

Thanks!

That's exactly what I need to work out the C-C distance.

And Mike, yes, I was going to "look around" in SDP or Small Parts for the 50 tooth, 1.636 (mp) gear. This information makes it *so* much simpler!

EDIT:

SDP part to compare to:

S1288Z-032D050

Pitch dia. 1.5625"

3D cad models available" (Stock Drive Parts calculator)

I started to order involute gear cutters,

http://www.mcmaster.com/#involute-spur- ... rs/=gd3g1d

But these are 14.5 Degree pressure angle, not the 20 Degree PA I thought you were using?

I can't seem to find 20 PA.
