Hi, Hano,

I see you are new here, so welcome to this wonderful and helpful forum. If you stay with us, you will quickly find many friends.

To answer your question: You can find pictures and descriptions and assembly instructions for all the Lynxmotion hexapods here http://www.lynxmotion.com/c-3-hexapods.aspx. You will have to judge for yourself if it looks (or can be modified to look) like any real member of the animal kingdom.

I personally do not think it does. You may want to look at the A-pod, the Phoenix, or some of the straight line "Walking Stick" formats for something more animal-like. I really enjoy my 4DOF T-Hex, but it looks like a modern mechanical vehicle and not at all like a dinosaur.

I understand that many people prefer the round hexes (AH3-R, BH3-R, and CH3-R) because they look more natural when they move in a direction other than "forward". They maintain center of gravity well and, especially the big CH3-R, can carry relatively heavy loads.

Whichever hex you choose, there are programs available to control them. And there are several expert programmers on this forum willing to help you if you have special programming requirements.

Again, welcome! :D
