Does anyone have the exact location of the Servo shaft (horn) for a hitec 645mg in relation to the casing??

... and unfortunately the techs at Hitec don't seem to have that information. It will need to be lifted from the dimensional drawing assuming it's to scale.

I guess I'll stick to the 16.5mm from edge of servo tab, that I've been using then.

For the 645MG, we measured 30.5mm from the edge of one side and 10.1mm from the other. According to the printout, it's 30.7 from one side, which would make it 9.9 from the other. There is a bit of play when you connect the servo to a bracket. The metal horn manufacturer does not have the data for the servo - just the horn.

Yes I've got those measurements. Seeing that I measured from the edge of the tabs, (adding 6.5mm) then your measurements confirm the horn placement of 9.9mm from case edge, or 16.5mm from tab edge 'give or take .3 as my caliper is bust! Lol
