Hello all,

I have an interesting issue. In the powerpod, I can calibrate and save the .hcf file, when it comes to building the basic program, I can save xxx.bas file to my directory. However, when I go and try to access it with the Basic Micro Studio, for some reason I can't see xxx.bas file exported. Has anyone had this issue before? I'm running Vista 64bit, all programs running with admin privies. Thoughts?

Yeah...this is oddly frustrating! Any ideas would greatly be appreciated!

Sounds strange.

Not sure what to suggest. Here are things I would do.

1) Run a check disk (or is it scan disk...) Just to make sure the disk is not corrupted.

2) In the directory you think you stored the file in, in the open file dialog in studio, select the All files option in the files of Type field (ie *.*) to make sure that some additional extension was not added on to what you think the file name was.

3) Do a file search to see if by chance you did not save the file elsewhere, like in the powerpod directory.

4) If all else fails, maybe uninstall and reinstall studio, but not sure for issues like that.

Good Luck
Kurt

Ok, figured it out,

If I save files int he PowerPod directory, they weren't visible due to some bizarre file permission issue.. saving it to a different directory fixed it. I guess the folder permissions got borked when installing the program.
