Hi All,

I am looking for a 3D printer for some time now and found something interesting... really interesting.
Would like to share and know if anybody have background with 3D printer and could help me

The project i found is:
http://reprap.org/wiki/Rostock

It's a Delta configuration 3D printer
Most of Reprap project use similar electronics arduino based with a shield.
I don't know more than that but this project need a "Hacked" file to control everything. (maybe that could be improved, but not by me)

Youtube video that show how it move and print

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... kAwOxA0lq8

I would like to make as much as possible parts on my CNC and maybe some 3D print parts that are too complicated or need 3D precision.

That could do it. Of course, reprap parts/drawings are probably already available!

Yes and no
I don't want a conventional but a delta design.
And all parts are plastic printed

Yep, it will be interesting to see how well this one works and costs... If it works well for you, who knows maybe I need to setup a better shop and equip it with one of these. Of course there may be one minor problem. That is so far I can not make heads or tails out of any of the 3d programs to actually make a model of what I would like to make :P  ...

But it sure would be fun to try.

If you know Makerbot printer, this is based on the project.
Should work the same or better. i like much more the shape of the box of this one.

The plan are open-source but requesting a quick quote at Pololu laser cutting was over 300$ in acrylic part only.
