That's a really good idea. Looks cool as hell, too.

I think there may be a little problem though if you try to walk with the body pitched or rolled at a significant angle. The point of ground contact would change a little. Seems like an isolated case though so it probably wouldn't be too big of a deal.

I like the slight angle on them, too. Looks really cool.

WOW! These parts have a glowing vibrant sheen to them almost like skeletal bones. If possible, they look even better than the CAD renderings. This is really getting exciting!

So far so good.. only one problem that was easy solve with the coxa servo wire.

I need to finish cut the remaining carbon parts now... ;)

Mouahaha...
In fact i have cut some parts but i had an issue with the CNC ... it miss some step on the X axis.. :twisted:

So.. need to cut again but i don't have enough CF..

I have switch to finish a customer frame.. ;)

Damn missed steps. One thing I should warn you about is that mach3 does not work well with laptops. Something about the power saving methods built into the machines messes with the signals sent to the drivers. It might be worth looking into a cheap refurb desktop with a parallel port. I got one from newegg for like $90 and have never missed a step since.
