Excellent picture of your CNC hardware. The photo is stunning!

The bath for water cutting is very interesting. I couldn't really tell from the YouTube; is it something that can be added to your CNC as an accessory, or would you an entirely different machine base?

No it's something that would bolt on the table.

I just don't know how I can do it so it's level and have mount to attach the sheet.

The "320 step per" look perfect.
The square i cut into the top are 4" by 4" and mesure are spot on..

ok... so i have problem with my CNC and it's probably from the PC.
Tried two (old) desktop pc and get the same result.

When i move the 3D view in Mach3 it shut or trouble the communication (USB) to the controller.
I cut since on my Lenovo i7 laptop without any problem at all.. i can move the 3D view all day long without any problem.

Even if i don't touch the 3D view on the desktop pc i have random problem.

So.. i have ordered a new pc.
Mini ITX size.

Zotac - D2700-ITX WiFi Supreme motherboard
Kingston - 4gb memory
Aluminum casing

Today the Mainboard and memory show up..

I will use a hard drive that i had here already.. so .. just hooked it to a standard ATX PC power supply and installing Windows 7.. !!

Amazing!

I have a Lenovo i7 laptop (and two predecessor IBM laptops)!

I also bought the DN2800MT Mini-ITX for my current RoboMagellan project. Did you get a SSD? Very low power, something like 8W!

Looks great.

Sure looks like it would be lot of fun! I just don't know if I have the cad type of skills to be able to design something that I could make...

But who knows maybe someday I will have to give it a try!
